The excavated floor mound with viewing Windows probably not an option as entry is low and narrow. The Visitor Center is excellent and very accessible. Combining that with some parts of the outdoor sections that are easier could be an excellent visit for a wheelchair bound person
I see no reason why it wouldn't be open the day after Thanksgiving. There is nothing on their website about it being closed. It is basically free unless there are special events.
