It really depends on what they like . My 8 year old grandson likes the historical part of it but remember it's a free venue so if nothing else you can have a picnic and enjoy the setting which is lovely on a nice dry day or eat in the tip tree tea room which is also nice.

Hello there, Please may you advise where you saw it advertised as a free event? Essex County Council do not advertise for this event as it is a site hire at Cressing Temple. We only place the event on our website, and the organisers website stated ticket prices online. The price you were charged was the organisers admission fee to the event in which there was a variety of stalls, cooking demonstrations and classes. I hope this helps answer your question.
